Overview 2024 Lincoln Corsair
Living up to the standards set by its larger siblings can be a challenging task, but the 2024 Lincoln Corsair doesn’t struggle in this regard. It confidently joins the showroom alongside the Aviator, Nautilus, and Navigator, showcasing its distinct Lincoln-ness through its use of high-end materials, luxurious ride, and appealing design.
The standard turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine delivers 250 horsepower, but opting for the Grand Touring trim unlocks a plug-in hybrid powertrain with 266 ponies. It should be noted, however, that while Lincoln has made efforts to conceal it, the Corsair is based on the more modest Ford Escape crossover. As a result, those seeking the sporty cornering experience offered by competitors like the Audi Q5, BMW X3, and Porsche Macan may be disappointed. Nevertheless, if you prioritize a quiet and comfortable cruising experience as part of your luxury preferences, the Corsair delivers exactly that.
The base trim of the Corsair has been renamed to Premiere for the 2024 model year. The only other change to Lincoln’s smallest SUV is that models equipped with the BlueCruise hands-free driving feature now come with a complimentary four-year subscription to that service, instead of the two years included in previous model years.
Striking Design of the 2024 Lincoln Corsair
The first thing that catches your eye when you see the 2024 Lincoln Corsair is its striking design. The Corsair boasts a sleek and elegant exterior, with clean lines and a bold front grille that exudes confidence. The LED headlights and taillights add a touch of modernity, while the available panoramic sunroof gives the cabin an airy and spacious feel. Lincoln has truly succeeded in creating a vehicle that turns heads wherever it goes.
Despite its sleek exterior design, the 2024 Corsair doesn’t compromise on practicality. The SUV offers ample cargo space, making it perfect for both daily commutes and weekend getaways. With the rear seats in place, you get a generous 27.6 cubic feet of cargo volume, which expands to an impressive 57.6 cubic feet when you fold down the rear seats. This flexibility allows you to easily accommodate large items or bulky luggage without any hassle.

Luxurious Interior of the 2024 Lincoln Corsair
Step inside the 2024 Corsair, and you will find yourself surrounded by luxury and comfort. The interior of this SUV is meticulously crafted with high-quality materials, such as leather upholstery and real wood accents. The seats are designed to provide maximum comfort, with ample legroom and supportive cushioning. The cabin is also impressively quiet, thanks to Lincoln’s attention to sound insulation, ensuring a serene driving experience.
The 2024 Corsair features an attractive cabin design that is reminiscent of other Lincoln SUV models like the Navigator, Nautilus, and Aviator. The cabin is adorned with high-quality leather upholstery and offers a wide range of features. These include adjustable ambient lighting, 24-way power-adjustable seats, a head-up display, and a smartphone app that allows users to unlock, lock, and start the vehicle.
However, it is worth noting that opting for these additional features will come at a significant cost. The Corsair also offers two special interior themes as optional extras. The first option, called Smoked Truffle, adds warm-toned trims and upholsteries to the cabin. The second option, Eternal Red, provides a retro look with deep red-colored leather and bright aluminum trim. In terms of cargo space, the Corsair’s cargo bay is generously sized.
We were able to fit eight carry-on suitcases behind the rear seats, surpassing the X3 by one case. Folding down the rear seatbacks creates enough space for a total of 21 cases.
Powerful Performance of the 2024 Lincoln Corsair
Under the hood, the 2024 Lincoln Corsair offers two engine options: a standard 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and an available 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. The base engine delivers a respectable 250 horsepower, while the turbocharged option takes it up a notch with an impressive 295 horsepower. Both engines are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, providing smooth and responsive gear shifts. The Corsair also offers all-wheel drive, ensuring excellent traction and handling in various road conditions.
The Corsair offers a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 250 horsepower as its base option, available on the Standard and Reserve trims. It comes with an eight-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive as standard, with the option for all-wheel drive at an additional cost. In our testing, the all-wheel drive Corsair with the turbo four engine achieved a 0-60 mph time of 6.1 seconds.
However, compared to its competitors like the Q5 and Porsche Macan, it falls short in terms of speed and driving satisfaction. The plug-in hybrid model combines a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with an electric motor, a continuously variable transmission (CVT), and all-wheel drive. During our test, the PHEV model achieved a 0-60 mph time of 7.0 seconds, but we were not impressed with the powertrain’s unrefined sounds.
Technology of the 2024 Lincoln Corsair
Lincoln has equipped the 2024 Corsair with an array of cutting-edge technology features that enhance both convenience and safety. The highlight is the SYNC 4 infotainment system, which includes a responsive touchscreen display and supports smartphone integration through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other notable features include a 360-degree camera system, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and automatic emergency braking. With these advanced technologies at your fingertips, driving the Corsair becomes a seamless and secure experience.
The Corsair comes equipped with a standard 13.2-inch touchscreen that runs Lincoln’s Sync 4 infotainment system. It also features a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster. The interface is user-friendly, and the steering wheel is equipped with convenient mini-joysticks to minimize the need for reaching out to the screen.
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration are included in every model, except for the base Standard trim which requires an additional cost for in-dash navigation. Upgrading to the Reserve model replaces the Corsair’s 10-speaker stereo system with a premium 14-speaker Revel setup and adds SiriusXM satellite radio with real-time traffic and weather updates.
Exceptional Safety of the 2024 Lincoln Corsair
When it comes to safety, the 2024 Lincoln Corsair has you covered. The SUV has earned top ratings in crash tests conducted by both the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). Additionally, Lincoln has incorporated numerous safety features to protect both the driver and passengers. These include blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision warning, and a comprehensive airbag system. With its robust safety features, the Corsair prioritizes your well-being on every journey.
All Corsair models come with a standard set of driver-assistance features known as Co-Pilot360. However, to access advanced technologies like Lincoln’s BlueCruise hands-free driving system, upgrading to the optional Co-Pilot360 2.1 Drive system is necessary. For detailed information about the Corsair’s crash-test results, please visit the websites of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). Key safety features include:

Fuel Efficiency of the 2024 Lincoln Corsair
In today’s environmentally conscious world, fuel efficiency plays a significant role in vehicle selection. The 2024 Lincoln Corsair impresses in this department as well. With its efficient engines and aerodynamic design, the Corsair offers competitive fuel economy figures for its class. The base model achieves an EPA-estimated 22 MPG in the city and 29 MPG on the highway, while the turbocharged variant achieves 21 MPG in the city and 28 MPG on the highway.
According to the EPA, the front-wheel drive model equipped with the turbo four engine has a fuel efficiency rating of 22 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway. Opting for all-wheel drive reduces the city rating by 1 mpg. In our own testing, an all-wheel-drive Corsair achieved a fuel economy of 30 mpg on our 75-mph highway route. As for the plug-in hybrid model, we have not yet tested it, but according to the EPA, it offers up to 28 miles of all-electric driving range and is rated for 34 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway.
