However, seating adults in the third row is a different story, as it is cramped. Additionally, cargo space behind the third row is limited, and dropping the rear seats to accommodate more items is hindered by an uneven load floor with a high lift-over height. In comparison, rivals such as the Chevy Tahoe and Ford Expedition offer more practicality and versatility. However, if you are specifically seeking a large SUV with hybrid power, the Sequoia is a good—and only—choice.

The 2024 lineup introduces the Limited Nightshade model, which features unique 20-inch TRD wheels painted in a matte black finish, complementing other blacked-out exterior appearance elements. Additionally, Platinum trims now offer the TRD Off-Road package, previously available only for the Limited model. Additionally, the steering effort feels light, which does not aid in accurate control. The brake pedal also has an oddly soft feel.
