During our test on the track, the RX500h F Sport Performance achieved a 0-60 mph time of 5.5 seconds. The RX450h+ is a plug-in hybrid model that features a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, three electric motors, and standard all-wheel drive.

This powertrain is the same as what’s offered in the Toyota RAV4 Prime and Lexus NX450h+ SUVs, but it produces two extra horsepower in this application, totaling to 304 horsepower. All the models we have driven so far exhibit the same soft suspension and luxury-focused characteristics as the previous generation of the RX, which will surely satisfy loyal customers but is unlikely to attract driving enthusiasts.

The RX450h+ is equipped with an 18.1-kWh battery pack that can be conveniently charged in a little over two hours when connected to a 240-volt source. This battery offers an impressive electric driving range of up to 35 miles per charge.
