In fact, in 2019, we referred to the previous generation of GM mid-size pickups as “the best-driving body-on-frame vehicle on sale today.” These new trucks, however, manage to improve upon that reputation. We had the opportunity to venture off-road in the AT4X AEV and found it to be an enjoyable and proper adventure. The experience was not marred by excessive road or tire noise while driving on highways that connect your favorite trailheads.
