Overview 2024 Kia Telluride
There are several reasons why we have placed the 2024 Telluride at the top of our SUV shopping list. Its attractive styling, smooth-running V-6 engine, and near-luxury cabin are just a few of its standout features. This three-row SUV is well-equipped to meet the needs of a wide range of buyers, but it particularly excels in catering to families with its spacious three-row interior. For adventure seekers, the Telluride offers plenty of capability.
Not only can it tow up to 5500 pounds, but it also provides ample room for cargo and is available in a rugged X-Pro version that can handle moderately challenging off-road conditions. It would be nice to have a bit more engagement for the driver, but at least the Telluride offers a comfortable ride and quiet cruising, which helps to reduce fatigue on long-distance drives. In our opinion, the Telluride is the best mid-size SUV for those in this segment.
Kia claims to have made some subtle changes to the exterior of the 2024 Telluride, but it may be difficult to notice them at first glance. One of the updates includes the addition of amber-colored daytime running lights on all models. Additionally, the X-Line and X-Pro models now feature glossy black exterior trim instead of the dark metallic highlights seen in the previous year’s model.

KIA Telluride 2024 still has the familiar tiger nose grille, but has been tweaked to create a new look with a bolder, more luxurious look than before.
Both sides of the car are equipped with new vertical dual headlights, giving a strong and sporty front overall. The lighting technology used on the KIA Telluride 2024 is standard LED bulbs for headlights and fog lights.
The front bumper has an integrated central air vent and thick silver-painted rectangular border. While on both sides of the air vents are new fog lights. Vertical air vents at two corners continue to be maintained on the front of the 2024 Telluride.

Cockpit
The 12.3-inch central dashboard screen cluster combined with the super-clear 12.3-inch multi-information screen behind the steering wheel helps the driver operate the vehicle better. The instrument cluster in the car is a highly appreciated detail with digital equipment, replacing the old Analog type.
Meanwhile, the 4-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel integrates a series of functional control keys such as hands-free calling, volume up and down, helping users easily control while driving.
The dashboard has a luxurious design, next to the central screen are 2 air conditioning clusters placed on both sides spreading cool air throughout the cabin.

KIA Telluride 2024 has a 2+2+3 configuration. In particular, all seats are covered with soft leather, integrating a series of convenient features, but for now they are still kept secret.
The second row of seats has 2 spacious, comfortable seating positions, easily sliding the seats back to create more leg space. At the same time, this area also has additional air-conditioning vents to bring a feeling of ventilation to passengers.
While the third row of seats has 3 positions including 2 adults and 1 child in the middle, this layout helps optimize the car cabin.
Finally, the luggage compartment has a capacity that has not yet been announced, but has an electric opening and electric adjustment feature.
Powerful Performance
Under the hood, the 2024 Kia Telluride boasts a powerful V6 engine that delivers impressive performance on the road. With its 3.8-liter capacity, the engine generates a robust 291 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. The Telluride offers smooth acceleration and confident handling, making it a joy to drive in various road conditions. Additionally, the available all-wheel drive system enhances traction and stability, ensuring a safe and enjoyable driving experience.
Every Telluride comes equipped with a naturally aspirated V-6 engine that generates 291 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque. This powertrain is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the front wheels, although all-wheel drive is available as an option for all models. During our test of the Telluride X-Line, it accelerated from 0 to 60 mph in 6.8 seconds. However, compared to some of its turbocharged competitors, the Telluride didn’t feel as responsive to throttle inputs at lower speeds.
The ride of the Telluride leans towards the firm side, and on rough pavement, it can sometimes deviate from its intended path. An optional self-leveling rear air suspension is also available. The brakes perform excellently, and the steering is precise with a satisfying weight to its feel. The Telluride offers up to 8.4 inches of ground clearance for off-road adventures and has a maximum towing capacity of 5500 pounds.
